Meet the woman behind Shiny Happy Holistics

I’m Kate, the face behind Shiny Happy Holistics. 

I first felt the pull of holistic healing in my late teens when I studied aromatherapy and physiology, led by a curiosity about how essential oils and touch could bring balance to the body and mind.  Life often has other chapters, so my budding interest took a backseat as I grew a family. But as the years passed and my children flourished, I rediscovered my passion, this time, stronger and more purposeful.

In recent years, I’ve been keenly absorbing as much knowledge as I can across holistic disciplines; completing a diploma in aromatherapy and becoming Reiki attuned at both Level I and II. I felt increasingly drawn to gathering and sharing beautiful tools; crystals, oracle and tarot decks, essential oils, incense and more that could support others on their own healing journeys.

In 2021, I quietly started working on my plans. What began with a modest presence in The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables, in a single small cabinet has grown to occupy my own stand - Stand B6 - with five cabinets of varying sizes, filled with beautiful crystals. 

Today, Shiny Happy Holistics is thriving and I have grown from offering the odd crystal druzy and crystal chip bracelets to expanding my range to include:

Crystals and gemstone treasures: tumblestones, large statement pieces, geodes, carvings and jewellery

Oracle Cards and Tarot Decks: for guidance, introspection and connection

Aromatherapy range: essential oils, incense, smudge sticks

Crystals have captivated humanity for centuries. Loved and revered for their vibrational properties, they’re believed to support spiritual healing, cleanse energy and bring clarity and upliftment into homes and lives.  Every piece I sell is carefully selected for its beauty, energy and authenticity. I embrace variety, from pocket friendly stones to striking standouts and pride myself on offering one-of-a-kind treasures.  I only purchase from a select few wholesalers, who have spent time building up their relationships with their suppliers. 

As well as my permanent base in The Warehouse Antiques and Collectables, you can also find me at different events in West Norfolk, giving customers an opportunity to shop with me in person. For me, Shiny Happy Holistics is more than just a shop. It's a way for me to indulge and share my passion for crystals and all things holistic and spiritual.
